New options added to non-spill quick disconnect designs from CPC

CPC (Colder Products Company), St. Paul, Minn., announces further expansion of its NS1 series quick disconnect couplings with options to simplify connections on the face of equipment and devices. With the recently released panel mount and bulkhead options, OEMs can now easily incorporate into their device the smallest plastic non-spill quick disconnect coupling available on the market today.

“Since the release of our NS1 Series of connectors, we continue to talk with OEM’s who find the product enables them to use non-spill connectors in areas previously too small to incorporate connectors,” says Jim Brown, business unit manager, medical markets. “With our new panel mount option, connections on the face of a device become simple for the end-user.”
NS1 Series couplings include non-spill shutoff valves that ensure drip-free disconnects. The dry-break style design of the NS1 provides ultra-low air inclusion, minimizing contaminants and eliminating the need to purge air bubbles from systems. With its intuitive, ergonomic thumb latch, the NS1 provides users with the “CPC Click” and confidence a reliable connection has been made. The NS1 Series couplings are constructed from polypropylene and PEEK materials that ensure reliable strength and chemical compatibility for a wide range of applications.
Available for precise applications with tubing sizes 1/8-in. and smaller, NS1 series quick disconnect couplings are ideal for applications within medical devices and In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) including reagent handling systems, printing and ink handling industries or any market requiring an easy-to-use connector for small tubing.
